Caroline Sawyer – Assistant Manager
I joined The Cottages Day Nursery in 1985 – I am still here and still enjoying it! I love preparing our oldest children for schooI and watching them learn, develop and grow in confidence. I have an advanced Diploma in childhood education. I enjoy spending time with family and friends and enjoy painting, gardening and cooking in my spare time.
Jo Lees – Deputy Manager
I joined The Cottages in November 2008. I have 27 years childcare experience, having worked as a nanny and in nurseries. I have a City and Guilds in Practical and Caring skills, NNEB I love spending time with my family and friends, reading, going to the cinema and eating out.
Sarah Presland
I have a Level 3 Diploma for the children and young people’s workforce. I have completed an induction to SENCO and I attend regular group meetings for my SENCO role. I have been at The Cottages Day Nursery for since October 2010 and thoroughly enjoy my job looking after the children and caring for them on a daily basis watching them grow and develop. I have two children of my own who bring me much pleasure and I love spending quality time with them.
Tanzi Etheridge Whilst gaining my level 3 qualification in childcare I did my work placement at The Cottages and really enjoyed it. In Febauary 2012 I joined the Cottages team and I’m very pleased to be back and working as a full-time member of staff . In my spare time I enjoy horse riding, reading, photography and nights out with my friends.
Annabel Jenkins
I am currently on maternity leave but I joined the the nursery having worked as a Playworker in the PlayAway and DayAway Clubs for 18 months. I am thoroughly enjoying the new challenge and enjoying gaining more experience before I embark on my childcare qualifications. In my spare time I enjoy shopping and eating out with my friends.
Georgia Presland
I completed my Level 2 at Newbury College, I then worked through the summer 2012 gaining some experience at The Cottages. I was then accepted onto the level 3 training apprenticeship with Tigers Training and The Cottages.
